Good food is ‘in the blood’ of any Italian chef, and Chef Marco Garfagnini takes that tradition seriously. Born in Carrara, Tuscany, the region’s culture has been the bedrock for his culinary career. Having spent more than two decades cultivating his talent in restaurants in Paris, London, New York and Cleveland, he joined Jumeirah Al Naseem as Executive Chef in 2018 and now heads up Burj Al Arab’s hottest new pop-up, SAL – the first ever ‘mirror dining room’ in Dubai. He will be serving up sumptuous flavours of the Mediterranean with signature dishes like sea bream Isolana, sea salt-crusted seabass, and succulent king crab with homemade trenette pasta.
